MAIN TASKS:

• Conducting cross-disciplinary and cross-project research and development activities, harvesting synergies between projects, and exchanging skills and know-how.
• Collaborating with the team in the development and assessment of battery and EV technology, designing, and conducting experiments, and analysing the results.
• Contributing to create and expand CTAG´s battery technology testing capability, by actively participating in the definition and design of new test systems.
• Maintaining accurate records of research, including lab notebooks, data sets, and analysis.
• Designing experiments and assessment methods, preparing and performing testing, and analysing results.
• Analysing test requirements provided by industrial partners/clients and determining the necessary human and material resources to conduct the experimental activities.
• Perform the project management to ensure proper and timely delivery of the results.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Master's degree in a relevant field of engineering
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible and comfortable in a quickly changing environment
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink
• Fluency in English

DESIRABLE SKILLS: 

• Experience in batteries, fuel cells, and/or power electronics and drives
• Experience in the energy storage and/or automotive sectors
• Familiarity with international EV and/or battery regulations/standards
• Experience in control and automotive communication protocols
• Experience in modelling, real-time simulation, and/or experimental testing
• Fluency in French/German
